Priceless

This is a picture I took on the way to the post office with my cell phone.  It is not the best picture but I love the card.  I used the Stampin Up Priceless stamp set with wild wasabi and so safron ink.  This was for St Patrick's Day so green was the theme.  Green is my favorite color so it could be the theme any time and I would be happy!!

This was for my daughter who is away and is priceless to me!!

Recipe Book for My College Student

I made this recipe book with cosmo cricket paper and laminated the dividers so they would stay clean and nice while she was cooking.  I picked up some 4x6 photo sleeves and index cards from Wal-Mart and wrote down all of our family special recipes so she could take them with her anywhere!!  I finished up with a note to her and how I hope that she remebers all of the memories that we had surrounded by food and joyful family times.  I put them on rings so she can flip through to find what she wants to make!!!  I love you my dear and please know how much you are always with us even though you are far away!!!

Easter Cards

These first 3 cards are from the celebrate with flourish cartridge. The chocolate bunny is my favorite!!

This Russian doll accordian card came from the Paisly cartridge and again I followed the idea from the My Pink Stamper web site. I had so much fun making these cards!

The other weary traveler!

This looks about like the picture of the dog I took when she traveled to Bethel. It is a long day of flying and my poor son was tuckered out!! He has been so stressed about whether he should come here or not. He seemed so calm and relaxed to be with his family again that he immediately went to sleep on the couch. Of course, Bella had to jump right up and go to sleep with her boy!! His sisters and I were all talking to him and we looked over and he was out!! It is so good to hear his voice sound so chipper again and to see him so at ease!! I am so grateful to have my boy in Alaska with me!! Tyler you are more than I imagined my son would be! I am so blessed!!

Crafting with my girls

I learned to make these cards on the My Pink Stamper blog. She has a great tutorial video. I used the Spring Holiday cards and Cricut Essentials cartrides and lots of stickles!! We love to bling up everything we make. Each girl wanted to spend their alone time with me so they took turns hanging out in my room where my craft area is set up. It was so sweet that they still enjoy spending time with the mom!!

First 3 months in Bethel

This little cutie was a dancer at the Camai Dance Festival.  What a sweetheart!!  I could not resist taking pictures of her.

These are the first 3 Kuspuks that I made. One of them was for a boy who danced in the Camai Dance festival.

It was 68 below zero this day!! This was the start of the Akiak dash a shorter sled dog race during the Kuskokwim 300 sled dog race. Also, we have the most amazing sunrise and sunsets that I have ever seen here on the tundra!
